Your Micro Modern Grocer. 🥒🥬🍏🌽Where Small Town Vibes meet the Big City. A space where Curated Goods come to Grow a Better Tomorrow.

It’s where ROOTS run as deep in the house as they do the field.
Where FAMILIES are bound strong because of shared experiences....and are grown with LOVE and TENDERNESS.

It is where examples speak louder then words and where Thanksgiving happens more than once a year.

With The Mercantile Project our family wanted to make sure we are intentional with every single product we carry. We wanted to carry products from local farmers, ranchers & artisans that hold meaning to us personally. While at the same time focusing on family owned businesses especially in the Black & Brown community.

When we gather around the table....we do so to share Meals, Memories & Moments.

Often we do not think of The Who, What, When & Where behind the food that comes to our table.

We don’t think of the stories behind the hands that grew the food we are sharing with our family.

The Mercantile Project
GROCER | GOODS | GARDENS
was created to share those stories.

Your Farm Tells A Story.
How will the next chapter begin?

The Mercantile Project will share these stories

“We’re so excited to bring this project to life for the Dallas and Houston communities,”
“We wanted to create a space that would not only showcase the goods of local farmers and merchants, especially Black and Brown individuals in the agricultural world, but also bring fresh, healthy foods, products, and
experiences to urban communities, with an eye toward educating the community about the importance of farming, gardening, and the supply chain.
The Mercantile Project does all that and
so much more.”
— Bree & Carlos Clarke
